We offer smaller groups at a more affordable cost than our large competitors. We tour inaccessible places, which are often behind-the-scenes or are usually private. Our companion travel experts are knowledgeable. I can provide names of experts and institutions who have been part of an Adventures Tour in the past, as well as those who will be on our current trips.

HOW SMALL ARE THE GROUPS?

The size is usually between a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 25, which includes the escort and expert. Sometimes, we will take a smaller group.

CAN YOU ARRANGE TOURS FOR GROUPS OTHER THAN YOUR OWN?

Yes. Arrangements for this would be on an individual basis depending on need for guides and number in the group.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE COST OF PROGRAMS?

This varies on individual programs. Usually, the air and hotel costs, transportation during the tour, most meals and admissions are included. A detailed list of what is included is provided with each tour description.

CAN I USE MY FREQUENT FLYER MILES?

We can work with you on an individual basis to use your frequent flyer miles, provided that you make your own arrangements to meet up with the group on arrival at the destination. In this case you would be credited monies for the air portion of the tour. Generally, the air cost is included in the program.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

Major credit cards are accepted for the airline portion of the tour. Personal checks are required for the land portion or for the full tour.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY?

The initial cash deposit, which varies from tour to tour, is refunded less a handling charge of $50.00 for 30 days after reservation. Generally, payment in full is due 90 days prior to departure and refunds after this vary with each tour depending upon the season and the hotels' contracts. No refunds are possible 30 days prior to departure. Should atrip be canceled by us, then Adventures would refund all monies. We highly recommend taking out insurance for tours.

WHAT ARE THE AGES OF PEOPLE IN THE GROUPS?

The groups comprise a fairly wide range of participants from late 30's to 70 +. There is a good mix of married couples and singles traveling on most programs.

CAN WE BRING CHILDREN ON TOURS?

African Safaris, Dance programs and certain art tours are certainly appropriate for children traveling with parents. Children may be evaluated on an individual basis according to the rigors of each tour. Many of the trips are not suitable for children under 12 years of age.

DO YOU CATER TO SPECIAL NEEDS?

Many of the museums visited in Europe are not handicap accessible and so this might prove a problem. Any special diets should be noted upon registration and we make every possible effort to accommodate these.

CAN I GET REFERENCES FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE TRAVELED WITH YOU?
